Special Envoy for Climate Affairs receives German ambassador

Manama, Jan. 13 (BNA): Special Envoy for Climate Affairs and CEO of the Supreme Council for Environment (SCE) Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Bin Daina received German Ambassador to Bahrain Kai Boeckmann. The meeting agreed to establish a green hydrogen conference for energy production, which is considered one of the best environmentally friendly technologies. Dr. Bin Daina praised the ambassador’s role to strengthen the bilateral relations, stressing SCE’s keenness to enhance cooperation in various fields, especially those related to preserving the environment and climate and promoting sustainable development. The ambassador praised the support and contribution of SCE in promoting joint programs between the two countries in the environmental field, noting the steady progress made by Bahrain in preserving the environment and wildlife and improving the environmental climate locally and internationally, as well as its active role in various international forums and organizations. He stressed his country's keenness to achieve more cooperation through the exchange of information and visits between specialists in this field.
