Special Envoy for Climate meets UNIDO Director-General

Vienna, Sept. 22 (BNA): Special Envoy for Climate Affairs and Chief Executive Officer of the Supreme Council for Environment (SCE) Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Bin Daina met Director General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) LI Yong during the 65th session of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Conference in Vienna. Bin Dinah praised UNIDO's great efforts to achieve development goals through its various programs and cooperation. He stressed the strategic partnership between Bahrain and UNIDO and the Kingdom's keenness to strengthen cooperation by supporting the development programs adopted by the Kingdom in its Economic Vision 2030 and the SCE in various investment projects to achieve sustainable development goals. Yong expressed his appreciation of Bahrain’s role in advancing environmental and economic development locally and internationally and praised the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the government’s work on all levels, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
