Special Yang Di-Pertuan Agong Stamp Series Out on Monday

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 7 (Bernama) -- Pos Malaysia Berhad (Pos Malaysia), Malaysia’s premier logistic and communications service provider, will be issuing a special series of stamps featuring Yang di-Pertuan Agong (the King), Sultan Muhammad V, in conjunction with his birthday celebration on Saturday. Pos Malaysia stamp and philatelic unit head, Diyana Lean Abdullah said the special edition stamp series entitled ‘Special Edition Series III-Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong', also carried the images of 14 previous Yang di-Pertuan Agong. These stamps will go on sale at the general post offices throughout the country beginning Monday. “The special stamp series is issued to commemorate all 15 Yang di-Pertuan Agong with the stamp featuring Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Muhammad V, at RM5 denomination. "The stamp series set which is limited to only 5,000, will be sold at RM37.10 ,” said Diyana.
