Srisaket to be assigned as boxing coach for police

BANGKOK, Feb 26 (TNA) -- The Royal Thai Police is planing to invite WBC super fly-weight boxing champ "Laem" or Srisaket Sor Rungvisai to teach boxing to the police force. Police deputy spokesman Pol Col Kritsana Pattanacharoen said that following Srisaket or his reail name Pol L/C Wisaksilp Wang-ek successfully defended his super fly-weight title the National Police Chief Pol Gen Chakthip Chaijinda intends to assign him as the lead boxing instructor for the police force. Srisaket is now the head of the administrative branch at the Uthumporn Pisai police station in Si Sa Ket province. Pol Col Kritsana stated that Pol Gen Chakthip had expressed his admiration for Srisaket, saying that he is a good example for Thai youths. His achievement shows that besides physical benefits excellence in sports can also become a career. He said as boxing instructor, Srisaket will be invaluable in teaching self-defence techniques to police officers. (TNA)
