S.TOMOR-OCHIR: THREE N.KOREANS ARE STUDYING IN MSU

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A rector of the Mongolian state university (MSU) S.Tomor-Ochir was received by Choi Tae-Bok, the chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the DPRK, on Wednesday. The MSU cooperates with some 200 foreign universities, institutes and scientific research centers, including the Kim Il-sung University. Its president Sung Ja-rib and a delegation visited Mongolia last year and signed a contract to cooperate in the Korean language and culture spheres. Good conditions have been created for the two universities to develop a collaboration in IT, bio-technology, chemistry and herbal plants research, the rector said. For the time being, three students from the N.Korea are majoring in the IT and the Mongolian language in the MSU, he added. After the meeting, the delegation got au fait with activities of the MSU's School of IT, which was established in 2002. B.Khuder
