Study seminar held to boost Knowledge on ASEAN

BANGKOK, January 24 (TNA) - Thailand’s Foundation for the Promotion of Social Sciences and Humanities Textbooks Project and Japan-based Toyota Motor (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. and Toyota Thailand Foundation are jointly organizing an academic seminar, themed ASEAN Study 2013, in Bangkok from January 24-25 to promote better and proper understanding of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and its member states. The two-day seminar is also aimed to prepare Thai people to become quality ASEAN citizens once the ASEAN Community or AC is formed by 2015. The two-day seminar also features mini lectures on various subjects concerning the 10-member ASEAN bloc, focused on providing information on the AC in different dimensions in order for Thailand to build strong relations with other ASEAN neighbours.
