Subversive violations condemned

Manama, Sept.24 (BNA): The Supreme Islamic Affairs Council (SIAC) strongly condemned the violations and irresponsible and heinous acts which happened at certain locations during the Ashoora season. “The deplorable violations were against religious precepts, the law and norms”, the council said in a statement, slamming the despicable acts which have nothing to do with the spirit of the Ashoora season. It denounced the disapproved politicized acts which represent an attempt to spark chaos and belittle the success of the Ashoora season in Bahrain. The council slammed the exploitation of wide-ranging liberties in the Kingdom of Bahrain, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa. It called upon the competent authorities to take firm and deterrent measures against religious, legal and ethical violations, hold lawbreakers accountable, as well as all those who attempt to subvert public order, harm the nation and defame symbols and fundamentals or seek to politicise religious rituals and exploit liberties to spark strife and chaos. The council urged all concerned parties to assume their religious and patriotic responsibility to stand united and take a firm stance against all plotters so as to protect religious rituals and liberties from any politicization or exploitation and deter anyone who attempts to break the law and norms so as to defend Bahrain’s security and stability and protect achievements.
