Successes Made in Springtime Farming

Pyongyang, March 24 (KCNA) -- Young people in South Hwanghae Province of the DPRK made achievements in springtime farming. Since the outset of this year, members of the youth workteams and sub-workteams in the province have spread more than 96 000 tons of compost over rice paddies and dry fields, reformed 700 hectares of low-yielding fields and finished the wheat and barley sowing in fields of 170-odd hectares. Such working style of the youths gives a strong push in the efforts for successfully concluding the immediate farming in the province. -0-
