Sudanese support for Bahrain's security, stability welcomed

Khartoum, Apr. 12 (BNA): Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Mulla highlighted Bahrain's appreciation of Sudanese supportive stances toward maintaining its security and stability, and the Sudanese participation within the Saudi-led Arab coalition to support legitimacy and stability in Yemen. This came as the Speaker today addressed the Sudanese National Council in the presence of Sudanese Speaker Prof. Ibrahim Ahmed Omar. Al Mulla praised the Sudanese National Council's efforts in promoting the comprehensive development process and reinforcing national unity in the interest of future generations. He stressed keenness on boosting bilateral relations and parliamentary cooperation. He commended the Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir's initiative on the national dialogue themed (Sudan for all), affirming Bahrain's parliamentary support for Sudanese initiatives designed to achieve development, progress and peace. Sudanese Speaker lauded the progress and development witnessed by Bahrain under the royal leadership and diligence of loyal Bahraini people. He attached great importance to the role of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening bilateral cooperation, welcoming Bahrain's stances in support of Sudan in international forums. Speaker Al Mulla today also met with Sudanese Minister of Forestry and Agriculture, Dr. Ibrahim Al Dhikheiry, and discussed enhancing economic and investment cooperation and efforts to achieve food and water security in Arab countries.
