Support for private education stressed

Manama, Dec. 13 (BNA): Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Noaimi reasserted the ministry's attentiveness to supporting the role of private sector in education and providing facilities to all private schools in Bahrain. "The ministry has always been keen on the provision of optimal educational services to the students in compliance with the directives of the wise leadership regarding constant attention for the next generations," the minister told Bahrain News Agency (BNA) on the side-lines of Bahrain Bayan School opening its science and technology building today under the patronage of Deputy Premier His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Education and Training Development. Al Noaimi expressed his gratitude to His Highness the deputy premier for his patronage of this ceremony, affirming that such patronage reflects the huge diligence by the Council to development of education in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He affirmed the policy followed by the ministry in this regard emanating from the directives of the wise leadership in caring for all students both in private or public schools. The minister urged the private sector to invest in education, in schools and higher education institutions as per applicable rules and laws to achieve the highest goal of the provision of excellent educational services that positively reflect on the institution and the society as a whole.
