Surinamese Foreign Minister receives credentials copy of Bahrain Ambassador to Suriname residing in Brasilia

Paramaribo, Oct. 19 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Suriname, Albert R. Ramdin, received at the headquarters of the Surinamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Bader Abbas Al-Helaibi, who presented a copy of his credentials as the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Republic of Suriname, residing in Brasilia. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries that began with the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries on November 10, 1999. They also discussed the necessity of framing bilateral relations by signing memoranda of understanding and agreements in areas of common interest.
