Suvarnabhumi Airport provides free shuttle bus service to Grand Palace

BANGKOK, October 20 (TNA) - Thailand's main Suvarnabhumi International Airport is providing a free daily shuttle bus service to people desiring to pay their respects to late His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej at Bangkok's Grand Palace. The free shuttle buses, running from the Suvarnabhumi International Airport to the Royal Hotel on Ratchadamnoen Avenue, are on service during October 20-November 15 from 9am to 2pm, leaving every hour from the front of the airport's gate No. 8, ground floor. Passengers are also provided with free drinking water and candies, apart from the free ride service, aimed to pay tribute to late His Majesty the King. Meanwhile, van operators in Surat Thani Province in the Thai South is also offering a free round trip for 200 low-income people who want to pay their respects to late King Majesty the King at the Grand Palace in Bangkok. The 20 VIP 10-seated vans will leave Surat Thani on November 1 and will return to the province from the Grand Palace on the next day. Interested persons can register for the free trips on October 22 at the Provincial Hall. The second-round free ride will be offered if the provided seats are not enough for passengers who will register their names this coming Saturday. After the demise of late His Majesty the King last Thursday afternoon, a number of people have joined volunteer campaigns to offer public help and donations, as they desire to do good deeds for the late and beloved Thai King.
