Syria wins two bronze medals at International Olympiad in Informatics of Azerbaijan

Damascus, SANA- The Syrian team won two bronze medals at International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) in Azerbaijan . The bronze medals were won by the students Ahmad Mohammad Mounzer Haidar and Mohammad Nour Mohammad Khaldoun al-Masri, the Excellence and Creativity Commission said in statement of which SANA received a copy on Saturday . Due to the Syrian team’s achievement, Syria advanced in the overall ranking of the participating countries to become 41 out of 87 countries, and excelled in the overall ranking of this competition over major countries including Britain, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark and all Arab countries participating in the competation.
