Taiwanese delegation visits National Charter Monument

Manama, Nov. 1 (BNA): The National Charter Monument has hosted a Taiwanese delegation from the Taiwan Consulate and reviewed HM the King's vision on writing down the names of 220 thousand citizens who voted for the National Action Charter on February 14, 2001. A tour was organized for the delegation around the monument's exhibition to learn about the evolution of life in Bahrain and the freshwater springs flowing form the seabed. The Taiwanese Consul expressed thanks for the organisation of the tour around the great monument which embodies Bahrain's culture and history and freedoms and democracy enjoyed.
