Tajik FM spokesman calls for Iran’s active presence in Tajikistan

Dushanbe, April 6, IRNA – Tajikistan’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Davlatali Nazriev here on Saturday called for Iran’s more active presence in his country especially in economic areas. Talking to IRNA, he pointed to close and ancient ties between the two countries and underlined the need for further expansion of all-out relations between the two nations. Referring to Iran’s investments in a number of projects in Tajikistan, he said there exist many other bigger and more important investment opportunities for Iran in his country He further said land connection routes are the main obstacles in the way of expanding ties between the two countries.
