Tehran museum to hang photos on Iran-Iraq war

TEHRAN,Aug.25(MNA) -- The Palestine Museum of Contemporary Art in Tehran will hold a photo exhibition on the 1980-88 Iran-Iraq war, which is known as the Sacred Defense in Iran. Entitled “Eternal Moments”, the exhibition will be held from September 25 to October 13. The exhibition will be comprised of competition and non-competition sections. Works by renowned photographers will be put on display in the non-competition section, which is entitled “Eternal Photos”. Works with themes of “Smiles and Happiness during the Eight Years of the Sacred Defense”, “Eternal Moments” and “Hope in Life during the Sacred Defense” will be showcased in the competition section. The exhibit has been organized to commemorate the Sacred Defense Week, which will begin on September 21. The museum is located on Baradaran-e Mozaffar St. near Felestin Square.
