Tehran symposium hosting seminar on impact of sculpture on awareness

TEHRAN,Sept.27(MNA) – The 4th Tehran Sculpture Symposium is hosting an international seminar on the role of sculpting on the awareness of human beings. The seminar runs until October 3 at the venue of the symposium. Several Iranian and foreign sculptors and artists are speaking on different aspects of the art of sculpture during the event. On Saturday, the Mexican sculptor Javier Astorga will make a speech on the relation of sculptures and urban design, and the Iranian artist Helia Darabi will talk about the role of different approaches to contemporary sculpting. The sculptures created by several artists including Francesco Panceri from Italy, Hiroyuki Asakawa from Japan, Miguel Isla and Ronaldo Alvarez from Spain, and Mario Lopez from Portugal are being reviewed during the event. The symposium will run until October 7 at the Qasr Museum Garden.
