Thai Princess recovers, leaves hospital

BANGKOK, November 14 (TNA) - Her Royal Highness Princess Maka Chakri Sirindhorn has been recovering well and has been discharged from Bangkok-based Chulalongkorn Hospital, where she received medical treatment against ureteric stones. Her Royal Highness Princess Maka Chakri Sirindhorn left Chulalongkorn Hospital under the Thai Red Cross Society, in which she is the Executive Vice President, on Thursday and has arrived at her royal residence, the Sa Pathum Palace in the capital. On her way back to the royal residence, the revered Thai Princess was greeted by cheering crowds who wished her good health and longevity. Her Royal Highness Princess Maka Chakri Sirindhorn was admitted to Chulalongkorn Hospital on November 8 after she had stomachache. The Princess, the third child of Their Majesties King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit, later underwent a ureteroscopy (URS) to remove ureteric stones from her right-side kidney provided by a team of medical experts, and she has been recuperating well ever since.
