Thai tourism unaffected by Indonesia's haze

BANGKOK, June 24 (TNA) - The Thai tourism has remained normal with its steady growth despite a spreading haze from Singapore to Malaysia, triggered by forest fires in Indonesia. Thai Hotels Association’s President Surapong Techaruvichit acknowledged on Monday local tourism-related businesses have closely monitored the updated situation and found no signs that the haze would affect Thailand's tourism. Surapong insisted that there have been no inquiries about the haze or any postponement or cancellation of hotel bookings in Thailand by international tourists due to the smog problem. (TNA)
