Thailand, Laos Ink Deal Against Animal Diseases

BANGKOK, April 28 (TNA) - Thailand and neighbouring Laos have signed an agreement on bilateral cooperation on animal disease prevention and control, in their preparations for the establishment of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) by 2015. Under the agreement inked this week, Thailand and Laos will share information related to animal diseases prevention and control, covering regulations on animal quarantine. Meanwhile, Thai and Lao animal quarantine officials also held talks on coordinated procedures under the new agreement. (TNA)
