Thailand's most potential gas plant under construction

BANGKOK, September 14 (TNA) - Thailand is constructing a new gas production plant which, its private investor has claimed, will become the country's most potential gas production site. Piyabutr Jarupen, Managing Director of Bangkok Industrial Gas Company Limited (BIG), announced on Saturday (Sept 14) that his company's new gas production site, called "Integrated Industrial Gas Complex", will have the highest gas production capacity in Thailand once its construction is completed. Piyabutr elaborated, once the construction is completed, BIG will have a plant which can produce the highest amount of liquefied gas in Thailand to serve various industries, including medical supply, frozen food and automobile industries. BIG's expanded Integrated Industrial Gas Complex is being constructed at the Hemmaraj, or Bo Win, Industrial Estate in Thailand eastern Chonburi Province, with a huge fund of one billion baht, in order to boost its production capacity of liquefied gas to 920 tonnes per day, from 500 tonnes daily now.
