Thailand's OTOP Select 2013 fair held on Sept 24-26

BANGKOK, September 17 (TNA) - The government, through the Ministry of Commerce, will organize the OTOP Select 2013 fair at the ministry's new head office on the outskirts of Bangkok from September 24-26, 2013, aimed to promote Thailand's community-based products with marketing potential. Besides, the Commerce Ministry announced on Tuesday that it will also open an OTOP exhibition and distribution center at Thailand's main Suvarnabhumi International Airport to introduce the country's outstanding community-based products under the government-supported one tambon one product (OTOP) program to international travelers. The Suvarnabhumi Airport's OTOP center is officially expected to post sales of at least 30 billion baht in 2014, while Thailand's total sale of OTOP likely to reach at least 70 billion baht then.
