Thailand's traditional medicine fair 2019 to be held in four regions

BANGKOK, January 28 (TNA) - The Thai Ministry of Public Health will organize this year's traditional and native medicine fair in all four regions in the country. Dr Marut Jirasetsiri, Director-General of the ministry's Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine, told journalists on Monday this year's traditional and native medicine fair, the 11th of its kind, will be first held for the central and the eastern regions in the Megabangna Shopping Center during February 7-11. Dr. Marut said the event for the northern region will then be held in Lumphun Province during February 14-28, followed by the event for the northeastern region in Surin Province during February 20-22 and for the southern region in Narathiwat Province during March 10-14. According to the senior official, outstanding traditional and native medicines in each Thai region will be specially exhibited in the event for the specific regions separately. (TNA)
