Thais in Bali advised to be on alert for volcano eruption

BANGKOK, Nov 22 (TNA) – Thai embassy in Jakarta warns Thai nationals in Bali to be on alert after Mount Agung eruption. No casualties were reported in the new eruption of mount Agung in northern Bali, the first time in 50 years. The volcanic status is maintained at Level 3 "alert" by Indonesia's volcanology centre and the designated hazard zone covers a radius of 6-7.5km around the volcano. Thai embassy in Jakarta posted a message on its Facebook page, asking Thai nationals in Bali to keep vigilant and strictly follow announcement and advice from Indonesian authorities.
