Thais invited to send New Year cards to border troops

BANGKOK, December 21 (TNA) - The Royal Thai Army has invited people to send their New Year’s cards with warm wishes or presents to border soldiers, including those stationed in the violence-plagued Thai far South. Royal Thai Army Deputy Spokeswoman Colonel Sirichan Nga-thong told reporters on Friday that everyone is welcome to show their morale support, on the occasion of the New Year Festival 2014, to the military officers, who sacrifice themselves for national peace and order, by sending them the seasonal greeting cards and gifts to border troops' offices nationwide. The Royal Thai Army deputy spokesperson said that all cards and presents will be delivered to the border soldiers in order to convey their care and best wishes to the military devotees.(TNA)
