Thousands of questions are sent to direct-line with President of RK
Uralsk, November 10, 2009 (Khabar) - Additional educational grants and preferential loans, construction of dormitories for students and employment of young specialists. Students of Zhangir-Khan West Kazakhstani Agrarian Technical University want to ask the President these questions. Yenlik Bazhenova studied at the chargeable department, at the faculty of economy and business and she wants to ask a question about loaning of excellent students.
Yenlik Bazhenova, student of Zhangir-Khan West Kazakhstani Agrarian Technical University:
- Last year, all excellent students were allocated grants amounting to 11 - 40 000 credits. And this is the impetus for further education and self-improvement for our students. I would like to know - will this program be continued?
Action "With a diploma to the village” is carried out now in the country according to the instruction of the President with the support of the party "Nur Otan". The state helps the graduates who decided to live and work in rural areas and supports the acquisition of housing. The creating of such most comfortable conditions must draw young doctors, teachers, and specialists in the field of culture, sports and other fields to the countryside. Hence the question.
Malika Kurmangaliyeva, student of Zhangir-Khan West Kazakhstani Agrarian Technical University:
- I would like to find out if benefits will be given to the graduates of the faculties: agronomy, zoo technics, electric power, standartisation, licensing and metrology?
West Kazakhstani Agrarian Technical University trains specialists for agriculture of western regions of the country. New educational building was built here during the recent years and machine building faculty deployed there. Scientific and research center and 72-flat house for the teachers were erected as well here. One more house will be ended soon and it will contain 44 flats for young specialists.
Bertileu Lashyn, student of Zhangir-Khan West Kazakhstani Agrarian Technical University:
- Most of 8 000 of our University are from villages and other regions. This year we were promised to build a dormitory for 560 students but the project was stopped because of crisis. I would like to know what the perspectives of construction.
During difficult 1990-s most agricultural Universities were deprived of their training farms and the teachers are interested if it is possible to revive them due to the partnership between the state and private business. The teachers are sure this would raise the professionalism of students.
