Three dead, 4 injured in Ain Hilweh refugee camp

NNA - The security situation in the Palestinian refugee camp of Ain el-Hilweh is till reported tense, with gunfire being heard along al-Safsaf- al-Barkaset axis, NNA reporter said on Wednesday. The assasination of Samer Hamid, named as "Samer Nejmeh", and its consequent gunfire led to the killing of two Palestinians Mahmoud Abdel Karim Saleh and Mahmoud Ibrahim Abu al-Yaman, in addition to the injury of four others, who were transported to a local hospital. Palestinian contacts intensified in a bid to reach a cease-fire, pullout of gunmen and the handing of those accused of assassinating Samer Nejmeh.
