Tiburon filmfest picks poster by Iranian artist

TEHRAN,April 16(MNA) -- A poster designed by an Iranian artist has been selected for the 11th Tiburon International Film Festival (TIFF) in the United States. The poster designed by Mohsen Abbasqorbani was selected from a large number of entries received worldwide. Works by Abbasqorbani, 23, have previously been showcased at many Iranian and foreign international events. A family drama based on Tennessee Williams’ “The Glass Menagerie”, “Here Without Me”, directed by Bahram Tavakkoli will be competing in the TIFF, which will take place from April 19 to 27. With its motto “Understanding the World through Film”, the festival (TIFF) seeks to provide a greater understanding of the world and its many cultures through the artistic medium of film.
