DIFFERENT, FENERBAHCE IS DIFFERENT
Five administrators in Fenerbahce chairman Aziz Yildirim's team gave the message to the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) "not to burn Fenerbahce." Yildirim has been detained within the scope of game-fixing investigation. Fenerbahce team including Nihat Ozdemir, Ali Koc, Abdullah Kigili, Murat Ozaydinli and Cihan Kamer met TFF Chairman Mehmet Ali Aydinlar, and deputy chairmen Lutfi Aribogan and Goksel Gumusdag at TFF's office in Istinye.
TFF executives said the allegations were serious, whereas Fenerbahce executives said, "persons can get punished for such accusations, however 104-year-old Fenerbahce club cannot be punished. Do not touch our championship."

FORMULA FOUND TO OATH-TAKING CRISIS
A formula has been found to the crisis that began as the Republican People's Party (CHP) did not take oath at the parliament. CHP group deputy chairman Akif Hamzacebi paid a visit to Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek on Tuesday, and the two agreed on "a solution plan regarding how CHP could swear in." There is an option that Cicek "may take initiative for a solution, and invite CHP to take oath at parliament." After the meeting, Hamzacebi said, "it was a positive meeting."

PKK'S STREET MURDER
Two sergeants died in an armed attack of terrorists in Yuksekova town of the southeastern province of Hakkari on Tuesday morning. Sergeants Yahya Karakaya and Murat Ozkozanoglu left their house in casual clothes to go to work. Terrorists opened fire on Karakaya and Ozkozanoglu on Nedim Zeydan Street. Sergeants died at the spot of the attack. 

AMBUSH ON LIEUTENANT COLONEL IN ANKARA
A fragmentation bomb was detonated at 7:40 a.m. on Tuesday near a bus station on Ankara-Eskisehir Highway. A lieutenant colonel was getting on a military vehicle from the bus station near Middle East Technical University (METU) forest every day. No one died or wounded in the attack, however three vehicles were damaged.

HOPE FOR A SOLUTION FROM MR. CEMIL
Justice and Development (AK) Party has set July 15 as the deadline for oath-taking. Republican People's Party (CHP) reacted harshly to such move. Despite these tense developments, there is a whole different atmosphere behind closed doors. There is confidence that Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek can resolve this crisis.

MALICIOUS TRAP TO TWO SOLDIERS IN HAKKARI
Two specialized sergeants, who left their houses in civil clothes in Yuksekova town of southeastern Hakkari province, were shot by terrorists with long-barreled weapons. A statement from the General Staff said that the sergeants had been shot in the back and from a close distance by terrorists who had been dressed like normal citizens. With this latest attack, the number of specialized sergeants killed in Yuksekova since last year has risen to 5.

TWO MARTYRS ON PAVEMENT
Two sergeants were killed in a heinous attack when they got out of their house in Yuksekova town of the southeastern province of Hakkari on Tuesday morning. Sergeant Yahya Karakaya was 26 years old and Murat Ozkozanoglu was 25 years old. They were not given any place at military lodgings, and they were living in the same apartment building. Yahya was married for only one and a half months and his wife had come to Hakkari three days ago. Murat's wife was five-month pregnant. They left their houses wearing casual clothes at 7 a.m. on Tuesday. 
They stopped to light a cigarette on the pavement. Suddenly two 9mm gun shots were heard. Both had been target of 22 bullets. They collapsed on pavement in blood. Two murderers escaped, however ten people were detained. 

JULY 15 STAKE FOR CHP
The Justice & Development (AK) Party gave time to Republican People's Party (CHP) to take their oath at parliament till July 15. Ak Party group deputy chairman Elitas drew attention to an article of the constitution saying that lawmakers may lose parliament membership if they do not attend five parliament sessions in a month without excuse or permission, and said, "we can do nothing after July 15." CHP leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu responded, "do whatever you can."

SEVEN ARRESTED IN GAME-FIXING INVESTIGATION
Twenty-two of 61 detainees in game-fixing investigation were brought before court. Prosecutor demanded that four should be released, 18 should be arrested. Court released 11 people and sent seven suspects to prison.

DEADLOCK!
As the prime minister revealed his "by-election" card, Justice and Development (AK) Party has set July 15 as the deadline for Republican People's Party (CHP) deputies to take oath at the parliament. Kilicdaroglu reacted harshly to such call. "We will not give into threats or blackmail," he said.

WE WON'T WAIT FOR JUDICIARY, WE SAW THE EVIDENCE
Turkish Football Federation's head Mehmet Ali Aydinlar, who has been briefed by the police and the prosecutor's office regarding the ongoing match-fixing investigation, said that the federation would take a decision on the matter without waiting for the court's ruling as they had seen all the evidence. Noting that the investigation might be completed in a very long time, Aydinlar said, "Turkish football is going through hard times. We have to act according to the existing evidence. We will use our time in the best way".

BY-ELECTION THREAT
After Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Justice & Development (AK) Party group deputy chairman Elitas recalled the constitutional provision that lawmakers may lose parliament membership if they do not attend five parliament sessions in a month without excuse or permission, and said, "deadline is July 15." 
Republican People's Party (CHP) chairman Kemal Kilicdaroglu enumerated the party's 16 reasons for not taking oath at the parliament. Kilicdaroglu said CHP was giving a democracy fight, and added, "we are ready to pay price. We will never yield to threats and blackmail." Kilicdaroglu said CHP was open to all solution proposals.
The Peace & Democracy Party (BDP), boycotting the parliament, held its group meeting in the southeastern province of Diyarbakir. BDP group chairman Selahattin Demirtas assessed election results as "Kurds defeated the state as they are rightful." Demirtas said, "either an honorable life or nothing."

HARSH WARNING TO DAMASCUS
Ankara gave ultimatum to Damascus after Syria had launched preparations against its 10,000 citizens who have fled to Turkey and settled in a tent-city in Turkey's southern province of Hatay. Turkey said, "we will assess any Syrian operation on the tent-site as an operation staged on ourselves." Then, Syria stepped back.

CLINTON AND FULE ON WAY TO TURKEY
After Prime Ministe Recep Tayyip Erdogan forms the government, European Commissioner for enlargement Stefan Fule will visit Ankara. Immediately after Fule, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will arrive in Istanbul.

SECOND WAVE FEDERATION
The football match-fixing investigation is expanding each passing day. Police will now question two officials and Turkish Football Federation's former head Mahmut Ozgener who were allegedly called by Fenerbahce football club's President Aziz Yildirim for the assignment of a referee. Ozgener, who acted as the federation's head for 3 years, has left his position to Mehmet Ali Aydinlar a week ago.

AK PARTY: DEADLINE JULY 15, CHP: THIS IS BLACKMAIL 
AK Party group deputy chairman Mustafa Elitas called on CHP deputies to leave aside their persistence and said July 15 would be the deadline for them to take oath at the parliament. CHP chairman Kemal Kilicdaroglu described such remark as a "threat" and said his party was ready to pay a price for democracy.

HEINOUS ATTACK IN YUKSEKOVA
Terrorists opened fire on two sergeants with long-range weapons in a street when they were walking to work from their houses. 27-year-old Yahya Karakaya and 25-year-old Murat Ozkozanoglu were attacked by terrorists at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday in Yuksekova town of the southeastern province of Hakkari. Two soldiers died at the spot of the attack, whereas an operation, backed by air forces, was launched in the region.

NEW CABINET AT PRESIDENTIAL RESIDENCE
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will submit the new cabinet to President Abdullah Gul on Wednesday. The cabinet probably includes Suat Kilic, Bekir Bozdag, Haluk Ipek, Huseyin Celik, Fatma Sahin, Bulent Gedikli, Erdogan Bayraktar and Nabi Avci.

OATH-TAKING DEADLINE: JULY 15
After Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned lawmakers who have not sworn in yet that "they are running out of time", Justice & Development (AK) Party group deputy chairman Mustafa Elitas said, "you will miss opportunity after July 15. Do not continue to be obstinate, come and take oath." According to the constitution and parliament by-laws, lawmakers who do not attend five sessions without any excuse can lose their parliament membership. Republican People's Party (CHP) and Peace & Democracy Party (BDP) lawmakers have not attended two sessions so far. There are three more votes till July 15.

POLICE FOLLOWED GAME-FIXING ALLEGATIONS STEP-BY-STEP FOR EIGHT MONTHS
It has been revealed that police followed all suspicious relations carefully in game-fixing operation, launched by Zekeriya Oz, then a public prosecutor with special authorities. Police recorded all meetings for eight months. Giresunspor chairman Olgun Peker is claimed to be the head of the crime gang. Photographs and voice records, handed out to the prosecutor's office, reveal the horrifying dimensions of the power of this crime gang.

PAYCHECK DAY: JULY 15
Republican People's Party (CHP) deputies, who are boycotting the parliament because of Ergenekon suspects, will get their first paycheck on July 15 although they are not participating in legislative activities. New deputies will be paid 45,000 Turkish liras, as experienced deputies will get 33,000 Turkish liras. If they insist on not taking the parliamentary oath, CHP deputies will be paid more than 30,000 Turkish liras every three months without working. On the other hand, Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) deputies will get no salary as they did not register with the parliament after June 12 elections.

MOST CRITICAL 10 DAYS FOR FENERBAHCE
Turkish Football Federation's head Mehmet Ali Aydinlar, who held talks with the prosecutor in charge of the match-fixing investigation, said that the federation would not wait for the completion of the investigation to make a decision. Aydinlar said the federation had to send names to UEFA for the Champions League until July 15, and therefore, they would act in line with the calendar.
