Tourism Minister stresses cooperation with Oman

Riyadh, Nov.30 (BNA): Tourism Minister Fatima bint Jaafar Al Sairafi met Omani Minister of Heritage and Tourism Salem bin Mohammed Al Mahrooqi, on the sidelines of the World Travel and Tourism Council Global Summit hosted in Riyadh on November 28 - Dec. 1 under the theme "Travel for a better future". She stressed Bahrain's keenness in bolstering joint cooperation with the Sultanate of Oman in the tourism sector, hailing long-standing relations, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman. She underlined Bahrain's steps to activate the executive programme of memorandum of understanding which was signed between the two countries for the years 2022-2024, on the sidelines of the visit of HM Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman.
