Tourism sector’s growth highlighted

Manama, Jan. 29 (BNA): Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed R. Alzayani has met the Chairman of Hospitality and Tourism Committee Jehad Ebrahim Amin and committee members in the presence of Bahrain Authority for Tourism and Exhibitions (BTEA)’s CEO Shaikh Khalid bin Humoud Al Khalifa. They discussed various topics pertaining to tourism in the country and government’s directives to advance this sector to boost our national economic growth. The minister confirmed to support all efforts and initiatives to enhance this sector and provide all facilities required for investors. The minister affirmed that the tourism sector in Bahrain is one of the most important economic sectors, among the top government priorities and contains important strategies focused on several elements and infrastructure in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which has become a tourist destination, attracting increasingly-growing numbers of visitors from the region and from around the world.
