Transport service provided for voters

Manama, Nov. 22 (BNA): The 2018 Elections Executive Committee announced provision of transport to the polling stations for voters. The aim is to remove obstacles and enable citizens to exercise their constitutional rights and participate in decision making. The committee set 36082208 as a contact number through which a voter can send a message on WhatsApp or call up directly. A car will be sent immediately to take him/her to the polling station. The service will be available throughout the ballot-casting period and voters can communicate with the competent officials from today and on the election day (November 24, 2018). A comprehensive team will be deployed nationwide, mainly in vital areas, to provide the service to facilitate the ballot-casting process for those who are unable to reach the polling stations.
