Tunisian Interior Minister visits RAP

Manama, Jan. 24 (BNA): Tunisian Interior Minister Hedi Majdoub and the accompanying delegation, on the sidelines of their visit to Bahrain, today visited the Royal Academy Of Police (RAP) in the presence of Chief of Public Security also Head of RAP's Scientific Council, Major General Tariq bin Hassan Al-Hassan.
The RAP's Commandant stressed that the RAP focuses on maintaining the quality of scientific and training programmes and the development of curriculum in line with directives of the Interior Minister and RAP Chairman of the Board of Trustees to keep pace with the escalating security challenges.
The RAP's Commander of Officers Training College gave a brief on the latest training and scientific programmes followed in the area of security work and training of police officers that ensure graduating professional police officers capable of carrying out their duties efficiently.
The visiting delegation toured the RAP's facilities and was briefed on the workflow and administrative tasks.
The Tunisian minister paid tribute to the RAP's advanced work system and the scientific and training programmes that contribute to honing the students skills.
