Tunisian President, Deputy Premier review brotherly Bahraini-Tunisian relations

Tunis, Apr. 1 (BNA): Tunisian President, Beji Caid Essebsi, received, at the Presidential Palace today, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, the Deputy Premier and Head of the Kingdom’s delegation to the 30th Arab Summit, which concluded here yesterday. HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak conveyed greetings from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, to the Tunisian President, as well as their wishes of abundant health and happiness to him, and congratulations on the success of the 30th Arab Summit. The deputy premier expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to President Essebsi, and to the Tunisian government and people for the warm welcome and hospitality accorded to him and the Bahraini delegation, praising the efforts exerted by Tunisia to ensure the success of the Arab Summit. They reviewed the progress of the brotherly Bahraini-Tunisian relations, and ways to enhance bolster bilateral cooperation in various fields. They stressed the i need to implement the resolutions of the 30th Arab Summit and the "Tunis Declaration" to strengthen joint Arab action and solidarity to serve common Arab interests and just causes, and safeguard the Arab Nation’s security and stability in the face of challenges and threats. Foreign Affairs Minister, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, the Advisor at HRH Premier’s Office, Yussef Mohammed Mahmood and the Bahraini Ambassador to Bahrain, Ibrahim Mahmood Ahmed, attended. Deputy Premier, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak, left Tunisia today, and was seen off by former Prime Minister and Political Affairs Special Advisor to the Tunisian President, Habib Essid, senior Tunisian officials, Bahraini Ambassador to Tunisia, members of the Bahraini delegation to the Arab Summit and the Bahraini Embassy’s staff. The Foreign Affairs Minister also left Tunisia.
