KARAGUMRUK IS BURNING NOW
TV host and poet Ugur Arslan, who is known for his song "Karagumruk is Burning", has been detained in Denez Feneri e.V. investigation. Arslan was the founding chairman of Deniz Feneri Association in Istanbul and he produced and hosted the TV show "Deniz Feneri" on private television Kanal 7. Four Kanal 7 staff were also detained as part of the probe.
INTERNET MEMO REAL, WET SIGNATURE NOT
In 22nd hearing of the case "Action Plan on Fight Against Fundamentalism", Navy Colonel Dursun Cicek asked to be released saying he was in jail for 16 months.
Cicek also said: "The indictment on internet memo was accepted by the court. Internet memo is a real document. I would also admit it if the wet signature was real too. It is not a document, it is just a peace of paper. But it is enough for my arrest."
2 YEAR JAIL SENTENCE TO AYSEL TUGLUK
A criminal court in the eastern province of Van found independent lawmaker Aysel Tugluk guilty of orchestrating the propaganda of the terrorist organization. The court sentenced her to two years in prison.

ARRESTED GENERALS DISCUSSED IN YAS MEETING
Supreme Military Council had a 5.5 hour meeting on the second day. Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan attended only the morning session of the meeting. The government insisted on retirement of 14 generals, who are under arrest, but had to be promoted.
Military flank demanded extension of time to be implemented on some names. Mustafa Korkut Aslan is one of those names. General Ismail Hakki Pekin, General Staff head of Intelligence Division, is another name for whom the military said, "his retirement will not suit to criteria of justice."
HIS ARRIVAL IS A MATTER OF TIME
Happy ending is very close in arrival of Kobe Bryant, the biggest star of NBA, to Besiktas. Besiktas Chairman Yildirim Demiroren left for the United States to make the final decision for the transfer.
In case Kobe comes to Turkey, tv channels like TNT and ESPN will make the world watch the matches of Besiktas Basketball Team.

TWO MORE FINE TUNING TO NORMALIZATION
Efforts are underway to plan two new arrangements, like reform, in relations of the government with the Turkish Armed Forces. E-memorandum of April 27 will be removed from the web-page of the Turkish Armed Forces. In parallel, the TSK will not state a view on political issues.
General Staff will only relay its views to the prime minister in weekly meetings.
Another implementation that the prime minister and parliament speaker's welcoming chief of General Staff remaining standing on August 30 Victory Day will also be removed.
CALL FOR EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE TO SOMALIA
Turkish Red Crescent Chief Tekin Kucukali wrote a letter to businessmen and made a call for urgent aid to people in Somalia.
