ROAST TO EVERYBODY
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan used hard words to Europe in Council of Europe. Reaction of Erdogan to a French parliamentarian in which he said, "your are very French to Turkey (meaning stranger in Turkish)"
Reacting to Sarkozy, Erdogan said, "those who made Turkey's membership a matter of discussion for the sake of populism and prosperity will make injustice not to us but to European values and their people.

OECD REPORT
Organization for Economic Development and Cooperation (OECD) released the results of its annual survey for 2011. Under the report including 29 countries, Turkey ranked the last in registered labor force. It is Turks who spend the most time in preparing meal. Turks spend 79 minutes to prepare meal. Turkish people also do not rely on anybody.

DECIPHERED "BY MISTAKE"
Despite President Abdullah Gul's and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's remarks that "they were satisfied," the Student Election and Replacement Center (OSYM) confessed the scandal. OSYM first denied the coding scandal in the university entrance exam and then there was a problem only in the booklets distributed to the press. However, in the end, OSYM sent a letter to students and admitted the coding in the exam. The letter said, "booklets with a sequence was distributed by mistake." However, the OSYM claimed that the sequence was not noticed by anybody.

HE COMPARED BOOK TO A BOMB
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan started his election campaign from Europe. Speaking at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Erdogan criticized not only the U.S. ambassador but also Europe, particularly France. To a parliamentarian who voiced religious freedom, Erdogan said, "I guess the friend is French, however she is very French (meaning stranger in Turkish) to Turkey." Regarding arrest of journalist Ahmet Sik for his unpublished book, Erdogan said, "using a bomb is a crime, however it is also a crime to use the materials used in preparing a bomb."

HARSH REACTION
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan gave harsh responses to the questions of European parliamentarians regarding ban on books and electoral threshold. Erdogan said, "you are very French (meaning stranger in Turkish) to Turkey, and we do not have to ask you about the electoral threshold."
Asked why Turkey is collecting books, Erdogan said, "I did not ask officials to collect books. Using bomb is a crime, however it is also a crime to use the materials used in preparing a bomb."
Responding to a question on why electoral threshold is not being lowered in Turkey, Erdogan said, "it is not my party that imposed the 10 percent electoral threshold. If there is need to lower it, we can do it with our nation, there is no reason to ask you."

VISA POLEMIC WITH U.S. AMBASSADOR
Responding to U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Francis Ricciardone who commented on Ergenekon arrests, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, "every one should first digest democracy himself/herself. They did not grant visa to my daughter saying that her photograph was not proper." A few hours later, U.S. Embassy said the embassy followed the required procedure.
