PATIENT COMES TO END
PKK terrorists have staged another heinous ambush on security forces in Cukurca town of the southeastern province of Hakkari. Nine troops including a major and a village guard were killed. The attack caused an outrage in Turkey which lost 43 of its sons in the last 1.5 months and 6,821 in the last 27 years.  

F-16s SHELL QANDIL
After Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, "our patience has finally run out. Words ended, now it is time for action,", 15 Turkish F-16s hit PKK camps in Qandil Mountain. The air operation began at around 8:30 p.m. Turkey launched its last air operation on Qandil in May 2010.

GREAT SORROW: 10 KILLED
Nine of the soldiers who were in three armoured vehicles died when four anti-tank mines, planted on Hakkari-Cukurca highway, were detonated at the same time.
A village guard died when a vehicle carrying the village guards hit a landmine while rushing to the region where many other soldiers were injured. 
It was stated that martyred major Yavuz Basayar was newly appointed to Cukurca. 46 security forces died since July 1.

A FIRST IN MGK
President Abdullah Gul will meet Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek and main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) chairman Kemal Kilicdaroglu on Friday after the MGK meeting on Thursday. 
For the first time Parliament Speaker and the main opposition leader will be informed about the matters discussed in MGK.

WE MAY SOLVE TOGETHER
Iranian Ambassador in Ankara Bahman Husseinpur said a foreign intervention in Syria would stir the region. Iranian Ambassador said Turkey should act together with Iran and talk to Syria. He claimed that the United States was trying to put the countries of the region into fire.

ROAD LEADING TO DEATH
Turkey moves forward a dead end in Kurdish problem. PKK attacked military convoy in Cukurca on Wednesday morning. 10 soldiers, one of them a major, were martyred. Response of the state was not delayed: We will retort this.

PKK CAMPS HIT FROM AIR
There was an intensive air activity in southeastern province of Diyarbakir after the attack. F-16 planes, taking off from the 8th Main Jet Base in southeastern province of Diyarbakir, passed to skies of north of Iraq and shelled Qandil, Hinere, Zap, Kharkurk and Metina camps.

BOTH THE WORDS AND PATIENCE ENDED
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan strongly reacted to the attack in Cukurca. Erdogan said, "as we said earlier, we are at a point where the words ended. Our patience regarding Ramadan has ended."
