Prosecutor of Ergenekon investigation Zekeriya Oz became congress member of Galatasaray Club. The club's President Adnan Polat himself gave the membership card with the number 15,286 to Oz who is a Galatasaray fan.
SNOW TO CONTINUE THREE DAYS IN ISTANBUL
Snowfall, which began in Istanbul yesterday, will continue till Thursday. Blizzard with 80-100 km/h will also be influential. Temperature will drop 8-10 degrees to -2 degrees in Celsius.

MILITARY TO HAND OVER INTELLIGENCE UNIT TO CIVILIAN CONTROL
The Turkish General Staff is set to hand over the control of a technical intelligence compound to Turkey's National Intelligence Organization or MIT. The military intelligence compound, the Bayrak Garison, is reportedly capable of conducting technical surveillance on all electronic communication in Turkey and in the country's immediate region. Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan has ordered for the handover, which is a turning point in relations between the military and the civilian authority.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday laid the foundation of the Alakopru Dam, part a wider project to carry potable and irrigation water from Turkey's southern Merisn province to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The project will be completed in March 2013 and it will carry 75 million cubic meters of water to the Turkish Cyprus.
