HE INSISTS
Syrian news agency has claimed that Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu did not convey any messages to President Bashar al-Assad during their meeting in Damascus and added that operations would continue. SANA quoted al-Assad telling at the meeting that they would continue hunting terrorist groups down.     

CRAZY TURKS
Looting and violence have spread to four other cities in the United Kingdom. Turkish people who have been keeping guard of their neighborhoods such as Hackney, Peckham and Dalston with clubs and knives became heros of Britons. British press eulogized Turks who repulsed gangs of hooded youths, adding that Britons needed to learn from Turks. 
    
ARDA GOES, ARSHAVIN COMES
Galatasaray soccer club have agreed to sell its winger Arda Turan to Atletico Madrid on a four-year contract of 12 million euro. The club will sign Arshavin from Arsenal.

WELCOME FROM DAMASCUS WITH "MESSAGES"
Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu conveyed messages of the United States and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Damascus. Davutoglu met with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad for 6.5 hours. As the meeting was underway, foreign news agencies emphasized the news reports that Syrian army launched operation in the region close to Turkish border.
Davutoglu said, "we have discussed concrete matters transparently. We will see what will happen not in months but in days."
It was stated that Davutoglu warned the troops to be withdrawn, and Al-Assad said they would not be tolerant against the terrorists.

AK PARTY: WE ARE STEADY AS A ROCK
An economy meeting took place under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Ministers of Justice & Development (AK) Party continue to say "we are steady as a rock".
Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek said "Turkey is on a firm footing, but it is not an island. Of course there may be an interaction but it is important that a long lasting destruction will not be experienced,"

REFORM, RIGHT NOW
Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has met Syrian President Bashar al-Assad for 6.5 hours. Syrian leader said about Turkey's warnings that they expected Turkey to support their fight against terrorist groups. Davutoglu asked him, "are 300-400 people destabilizing Syria?" Al-Assad replied that if they could ensure security, it would contribute to reform process. In response, Davutoglu added that if they gave priority to security, reforms could never be made. 

ARDA SIGNS ATLETICO MADRID
Galatasaray has agreed to sell its winger Arda Turan to Atletico Madrid. Spanish club will pay a transfer fee of 12 million euro for the captain of Galatasaray.
