THIS FRIEND HAS COME TO THE FOREFRONT TOO MUCH
First chamber of Supreme Board of Judges & Prosecutors (HSYK) changed place of duty of 128 judges and prosecutors yesterday. Zekeriya Oz, Fikret Secen and Ercan Safak, the three prosecutors of the Ergenekon investigation were appointed as vice chief public prosecutors of Istanbul.
Oz and Safak were suspended from Ergenekon without being offended as their "special authorities" were removed. Secen was brought to the top of the investigation being "specially authorized prosecutor."
LAST OPERATION TO THEOLOGISTS
Zekeriya Oz, investigating Zirve Publishing House massacre in which three missionaries were brutally killed four years ago, asked the court two days ago to give permission to search houses of six academicians.
Police launched operations in seven provinces at the same hours when he was removed from the office.
Searches in houses of Zekeriya Beyaz, who was known with his studies on missionary, Salim Cohce, Mehmet Aydin, Sahin Filiz, Abdurrahman Kucuk and Kadir Albayrak continued for hours.
Documents which the professors wrote about missionary were seized.

HIS AUTHORITY REMOVED, HE WAS PROMOTED
Supreme Board of Judges & Prosecutors (HSYK) changed place of duty of 128 prosecutors and judges. Prosecutor of Ergenekon investigation Zekeriya Oz was appointed as acting chief prosecutor of Istanbul. If authority decree is not issued, Oz will lose his special authorities.
Deputy Chief Prosecutor Colakkadi was appointed as Chief Prosecutor of Istanbul.
RADICAL PROPOSALS
Deputy Chairman of Republican People's Party (CHP) Suheyl Batum, who carries out CHP's constitutional studies, said linking of General Staff to National Defense Ministry can be discussed. He said National Security Council may be removed.
Batum said headscarf may be worn in universities not as a religious symbol but within the scope of individual freedom.

ADVERSE WAVE IN ERGENEKON
Ergenekon case's number-one prosecutor, who was under discussion with the recent wave of detentions, was promoted however his special authorities were taken back. Thus, Zekeriya Oz has no link with the Ergenekon case. An important name from the Supreme Board of Judges & Prosecutors (HSYK) said, "there were no demands, this is our appreciation."
KAYA: KURDS NEED LIBERAL PARTY
Former Democracy Party (DEP) leader Yasar Kaya, who came up during Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's visit to Irbil, spoke to Radikal daily newspaper. Kaya said, "I have been living in exile for years. Exile is like an open-air prison. I want to return back. If I were in Turkey, I would help the (democratic) initiative. I would like to join active politics. Kurds need a liberal party."
