ANKARA DEMONSTRATION IN TRNC
Union Platform in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) held the third demonstration to protest the tight austerity measures claimed to have been taken with the demands of Turkey. Around 2.500 people attended the demonstration. Some groups opened placards writing "occupier Turkish Republic get out of Cyprus".
Police intervened and clashes broke out.

Specially authorized prosecutor Murat Demir launched an investigation against the military coup that had taken place on September 12, 1980.
Speaking to Vatan daily, Demir said he did not support the view that those who staged the coup would make use of prescription.
Demir said a court case can be filed till September 12, 2040.
ROAD MAP FOR LIBYA
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said an immediate cease-fire should be ensured in Libya soon. He said, "blockade which Gaddafi put on some cities should be removed. Secure zones should be established for humanitarian assistance. Ways for democratic process should be opened."

Akif Hamzacebi from main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) said that he didn't consider right the statements of General Staff which had a "difficulty in understanding" the retired and active soldiers' being tried under arrest. Hamzacebi said that this was an over sensitivity, adding that there was a pending legal process.

After anti-Turkey demonstrations escalated in Libya, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced a road map. He said, "cease-fire should be declared, Gaddafi should withdraw. A transition to constitutional democracy, which protects interests of people, should be initiated." Erdogan said that they knew who were behind the smear campaigns against Turkey. It was claimed that Erdogan mentioned France.

Expertise delegation will be formed to investigate cipher allegations in Passage to Higher Education examination.
Acting Chief Public Prosecutor of Ankara Sadan Sakinan formed a team of experts to investigate the incident from "administrative", "technological" and "criminal" dimensions.
