6 MEMBERS OF KOC FAMILY IN TOP 10
Six names from Koc family were listed among the top 10 taxpayers in Turkey in 2010. Rahmi Koc topped the list with an income tax of 22.89 million Turkish liras. Last year's champion Aydin Dogan ranked the 11th this year with an income tax of 7.3 million TL. In the list of lawyers, Ahmet Sedid Kurutluoglu left behind Ahmed Pekin this year, as in the celebrity world, Acun Ilicali was ranked the first.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Republican People's Party (CHP) chairman Kemal Kilicdaroglu, who have been voicing harsh criticisms about each other in recent days, attended an event organized by Turkey's Presidency of Religious Affairs. An Organization for Cooperation and Economic Development (OECD) report "Society at a Glance" listed Chile, Mexico and Turkey as countries having the highest income inequality.
According to the report, Turkey has the lowest employment rate among OECD member countries. Slovenia is one of the main countries we should envy.
The report said Turkey placed near the top in unemployment and poverty. The report said Turkey spends the least money for training of children.
Average life span in Turkey is shorter than other OECD member countries, the OECD report said.
TOP TAX CHAMPIONS FROM KOC FAMILY
Evaluations were concluded for 2010 incomes and 100 names who will pay the highest income tax in Turkey were made public.
Rahmi Koc became the tax income record holder with an income tax of 22.9 million Turkish liras. Semahat Sevim Arsel ranked the second, Suna Kirac the fourth and Mustafa Vehbi Koc ranked the fifth.

ERUYGUR'S MISSING TRILLION
It could not be determined how Ergenekon suspect Sener Eruygur spent 7.5 million TL from the discretionary fund when he was the head of the Turkish Gendarmerie Forces. The inspection committee of the Turkish prime ministry could not find the 5 GSM wiretapping and 2 internet tracking devices that were purchased with the fund money either.
MUSEUM AT THE STORAGE
It has been revealed that businessman Salih Tatlici, whose fortune of billions of dollars cannot be shared, had priceless artifacts in his storages. Tatlici, who died in 2009, had hidden nearly 1,000 valuable pieces of art in the warehouse of his factory and under the pool at his villa. Paintings of prominent artists such as Ibrahim Calli and Ayvazovski caused tension within Tatlici's family.
