NO GREEN LIGHT TO SUSPECTS
The Supreme Military Council meeting lasted 5.5 hours on the second day. Five generals --who are under arrest in alleged coup plot cases Ergenekon, Balyoz and internet memo case-- were to be promoted, but they were disappointed.
EMRE WAS ASKED ABOUT 6-0 IN MATCH-FIXING PROBE
Fenerbahce player Emre Belozoglu and former Besiktas manager Sinan Engin were questioned by prosecutors in match-fixing investigation.
Turkey international Emre Belozoglu was asked about a text message which he allegedly sent to opposing Ankaragucu player Kaan Soylemezgiller before their match and said "do not push it too much." Fenerbance defeated Ankaragucu 6-0 in that game.
Prosecutors also asked former Besiktas manager Engin about his phone conversation with Fenerbahce Chairman Aziz Yildirim who is behind bars as a suspect in match-fixing probe.

CICEK CONFESSES: INTERNET MEMORANDUM IS A REAL DOCUMENT
It was confirmed that internet web-pages aiming at black propaganda were established by the General Staff. Colonel Dursun Cicek spoke at Tuesday's hearing of the case "to end AK Party and Gulen" and said "internet memorandum is a real document. However, it is impossible to find the news in the web-page as it was destroyed."
CHILDREN OF MISSING GENERATION LEARN TURKISH IN RHODES
Nazife, Gunay, Suheyla and Guler, and many other hundreds of children. Their names are Turkish but they can only communicate in Greek. They are the missing generation of Rhodes, which has the most Turkish population among other Greek Islands in the Aegean.
Rhodes Muslims Fraternity and Culture Association carries out important studies for the 3,500 Turks whose schools were closed and who were deprived of getting education in the mother tongue after 1974 Cyprus Peace Operation.
The association opens courses aiming to teach children their mother tongue.

COMMANDERS WAITING TO BE PROMOTED TO RETIRE
Democratization, which was reflected in the seating order of the Supreme Military Council meeting, was not just an image. The Council convened under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the second day and civilians get what they wanted. There was a consensus at the meeting to retire arrested generals who are to be promoted.
GEN. UNAL TO BE APPOINTED AS AIR FORCE COMMANDER
Lieutenant General Abidin Unal will be named as the new Air Forces Commander. Gen. Unal will be appointed as acting commander for 1 year. He will be advanced to full general in 2012 Supreme Military Council meeting, and then appointed as Air Forces Commander.
