OZ: I WAS TIRED BUT IT WAS A SURPRISE
Prosecutor Zekeriya Oz, who was carrying out the Ergenekon investigation, was appointed as the acting chief prosecutor of Istanbul, and his special authorities were taken back. Oz said, "it is both a promotion and a punishment. I was tired but it was a surprise."

USE TL IN NORTH OF IRAQ
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, while commenting on his visit to Iraq on the plane, made public the offer he made to Massoud Barzani, the head of the regional administration in north of Iraq. Erdogan said he proposed Barzani the same model Turkey was using with Russia and Iran. Erdogan quoted himself as telling Barzani, "let's use dinar in Turkey and Turkish lira (TL) here. Let's save our currencies from USD pressure. This way we can obtain an income of 20 percent."

DOUBLE EULOGY FROM EUROPE TO TURKEY
Le Figaro and Guardian said French President Nicolas Sarkozy lost in Libya operation, whereas Turkey's Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan won. The papers said the Greek Cypriot administration was not called to a Libya conference in London with Turkey's veto, and another Libya summit to take place in Qatar is Erdogan's idea.

NEW WAVE IN ZIRVE
Searches were carried out in the second operation in houses of six people, including Zekeriya Beyaz, in seven provinces within the scope of Ergenekon investigation.
Nobody was detained in the operations carried out within the scope of "missionary activities".
Zekeriya Beyaz said, "I was writing book on Gulen and Said-i Nursi."

TIME HAD COME TO VISIT IRBIL, BUT IT WAS NOT EASY
Commenting on his visit to Iraq, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said they showed too much patience to pass from a policy which only focuses on Turkmen policy to a policy viewing whole Iraq. 
Erdogan said investments of businessmen were important for construction of Iraq and normalization of daily life.

FILES OF OZ GIVEN TO FIKRET SECEN
Ergenekon prosecutor Zekeriya Oz was appointed as deputy chief prosecutor of Istanbul after his special authorities were taken with a decree of Supreme Board of Judges & Prosecutors (HSYK).
Fikret Secen, who was appointed as deputy chief prosecutor with his special authorities, will from now on will deal with Ergenekon and linked cases as "coordinator prosecutor".

WE TARGET TO BE THE FIRST
Turkish Airlines (THY) Director General Temel Kotil said they started flights to the Balkans without visa, while addressing the delivery ceremony of two Airbus A320 panes. 
Kotil said target of THY is to become the first in the market.
