"HALK TV" CONTROVERSY
The struggle to take the "Halk TV" has caused the recent controversy in the Republican People's Party (CHP) after resignation of Deniz Baykal. Kemal Kilicdaroglu did not pay salaries of the Halk TV personnel after Baykal's resignation. Journalist Soner Yalcin sent a letter to CHP executive Baki Ozyalcin to perceive Kilicdaroglu to sale the TV channel. When he did not receive a positive reply from the CHP, Yalcin forced another journalist Iklim Bayraktar to hold interviews with Baykal and Kilicdaroglu to blackmail them. 

TALKING NONSENSE AGAIN
Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi has said in an interview with Turkey's TRT Turk, "Turks are our brothers. We are all Ottomans." Then, he claimed that pirates would invade the Mediterranean Sea to racketeer from ships.

ANKARA'S HARSH REACTION TO EP 
The European Parliament has adopted a resolution on the progress of Turkey written by rapporteur Ria Oomen-Ruijten of the Netherlands. Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the resolution included views which were one-sided, unacceptable and irrelevant to reality. "Turkey, as a negotiating EU candidate country, expects European Parliament to take a fair and objective stand and display seriousness required by its function," it said.

TEN MORE TURKS IN FORBES' LIST OF BILLIONAIRES
Number of Turks has increased to 38 from 28 in the Forbes' list of billionaires. Emin Karamehmet ranked 268th in the list while Semahat Arsel and Husnu Ozyegin ranked 376th.

IKLIM REQUESTED, MR.KEMAL DID IT IMMEDIATELY
It has been revealed that OdaTV reporter Iklim Bayraktar requested Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu "to make a press statement before 11 a.m." when Odatv's owner Soner Yalcin was under arrest. On the day Yalcin was brought to court house, CHP leader was before media members and spoke "in line with the request."

LATE JUSTICE IS NOT JUSTICE
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said a late justice was not justice. Erdogan said decisions should be given rapidly, files should be examined and finalized rapidly. 

"WE ARE ALL OTTOMANS"
When the United States and Britain declared Libya as a no flight zone, Libyan leader Muammar al-Qadhafi sent warm messages to Turkey. Speaking to TRT Turk, al-Qadhafi said, "Turks are our brothers, and we have lived together for hundreds of years. We are all Ottomans, this is our history. Our doors are open to Turkish workers who have left our country." 
Moreover, it has been claimed that the head of Libyan Central Bank was in Istanbul.
