TURKISH AIRLINES AIRCRAFT BREAKS DOWN IN CHINA

ISTANBUL (A.A) - 16.12.2009 - A Turkish Airlines (THY) aircraft broke down in China on Wednesday.
Executives of the THY said that a THY aircraft to fly from Beijing, China to Istanbul, Turkey had a technical breakdown before it took off from the Chinese airport.
There were 165 passengers aboard the Airbus 340 aircraft.
THY executives said the company sent the spare part from Istanbul to Beijing, and the plane was expected to arrive at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport this night.
