Turkish diplomat denies Cairo embassy evacuated

CAIRO (A.A) - Turkey's ambassador in Cairo denied reports that the Turkish Embassy was evacuated after a mass demonstration outside the Egyptian parliament on Tuesday. Ambassador Huseyin Avni Botsali told the Anadolu Agency via telephone that the embassy staff finished working an hour earlier than normal as a precaution due to the vast number of protestors crowding the immediate vicinity of the Turkish embassy building. "All embassy staff is in Cairo at the moment," Botsali said.
