Turkish economy minister attends Geneva Automobile Fair

GENEVA (A.A) – March 6, 2011 - Turkish Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan attended the 82nd International Geneva Automobile Fair on Tuesday. Caglayan visited stands of Toyota, Renault, Hyundai, Fiat and Ford which make productions in Turkey. He also visited the stand of the new vehicle Concept V1 model of Karsan which had joined New York taxicab tender. Caglayan told reporters that automotive sector was on top of the most important sectors in Turkey, adding that automobile by-industry also developed in Turkey. Meanwhile, Caglayan met Toyota Europe's Head Didier Leroy who said that they were exerting efforts to increase Toyota's production in Turkey.
