Turkish journalist presented with IPI press freedom award

VIENNA (A.A) - June 14, 2011 - Turkish journalist Zeynep Oral was presented with "Press Freedom Dialogue Award" of the International Press Institute (IPI).
Oral received her award from Austrian Foreign Minister Michael Spindelegger and IPI Director General Alison Bethel McKenzie at a ceremony on Tuesday at Hofburg Palace in Vienna.
Oral is the co-founder, together with Margarita Papandreou of Greece, of the Women's Initiative for Peace, or WINPEACE, which was founded in January 1996.
She is a graduate of the Ecole Superieure de Journalisme in Paris and the Institut des Etudes Theatrales at Sorbonne University.
