QUICK AND FAIR
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke at Mecca and put forth four conditions to support NATO which is getting ready for an operation against Libya.
1-NATO should enter there in order to confirm that Libya belongs to Libyan people.
2-Libya's underground resources and riches should not be distributed to some circles.
3-Operation should end as soon as possible, it should not turn into occupation.
4-Opportunity should be given to Libyan people to build sound, stable and peaceful future.

STONE AND SLAP FROM BDP
Atmosphere tensed when some groups threw stone on police following the Nevruz celebrations in southeastern province of Batman on Sunday. Security forces used pressure water and tear gas to disperse the demonstrators. When police cameras were examined, Peace & Democracy Party (BDP) MP Bengi Yildiz was seen while stopping cars by using stone. Another BDP MP Sebahat Tuncel argued with a chief inspector Murat Cetiner in Silopi town of southeastern province of Sirnak and slapped him in the face during Nevruz celebrations.

FOUR CONDITIONS OF ANKARA
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan explained under what conditions Turkey would approve taking Libya operation under NATO roof.
1-Operation should end at the possible soonest time.
2-NATO should enter there to confirm that Libya belongs to Libyans, not for distribution of underground resources.
3-Libyan people have every kind of opportunities to build their future. They should be given this opportunity. 
4-Opportunity should be given to Libyan people to make their own decision before the operation turns into occupation.

BREATH TAKING BARGAINING
Famous war correspondents Anthony Shadid, Lynsey Addario, Tyler Hicks and Steve Farrel were arrested in Ecdebiye last week. Ankara was intervening since then for their rescue. Yet more, the United States transferred its right of representation in Libya to Turkey. Gaddafi could be convinced after long lasting bargaining. Ambassador Sahinkaya who went to military base in Tripoli to take the journalists on Sunday evening had to come back when bombardment started. However, Ankara did not give up, took the four journalists on Monday and brought them to Tunisia.

WE WILL NOT BOMB PEOPLE OF LIBYA, ERDOGAN SAYS
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan evaluated the developments in Libya and the NATO meeting in Brussels while returning from Saudi Arabia. "We will not bomb the people of Libya. We will not be a combat force in Libya. We may assume the responsibility of distributing humanitarian assistance in Libya," Erdogan said.

THEY ARE BOMBING OUR BILLIONS
The military operation against Libya has negatively affected the hopes of Turkish businesspeople who had assumed projects worth 16 billion USD in Libya. Turkish contractors said that it would be very difficult for them to return to Libya as internal clashes turned into an international war.

ERDOGAN ISSUES 3 CONDITIONS TO NATO
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that he had certain conditions for NATO if the alliance wanted to interfere in Libya. Erdogan said that NATO must register officially that Libya belonged to the Libyans. Erdogan said that the resources of Libya should not be distributed to others. Erdogan also said that the military operation should not turn into an occupation.

WE DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT IS HAPPENING TO SARKOZY, GONUL SAYS
Turkish National Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul said that they did not understand why France was at the forefront of implementing an United Nations decision to use force against Libya. We have seen later that the United States is also part of the force being used against Libya, Gonul added.

Stance of Ankara remains uncertain in Libya operation. Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said international procedures were not abided by. Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, "operation should not turn into an occupation. NATO should enter there to confirm that Libya belongs to Libyan people, not for distribution of riches."

TUSIAD CONSTITUTION TO BE MADE PUBLIC TODAY
The draft constitution which the Turkish Industrialists' & Businessmen's Association (TUSIAD) has been preparing for a long time offered description of citizenship to be changed in the basis of principle of "constitutional citizenship in a way that would not make ethnical connotation."
TUSIAD opposes chairmanship system and wants General Staff to be connected to defense minister.

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan shed green light to NATO intervention in Libya with two conditions. Erdogan said operation should not turn into an occupation and noted that Ankara would not hit Libya.
Erdogan's statement made in Mecca on Monday actually put an end to talks among Ankara, Washington, Brussels and Paris on Libya issue.

TUSIAD'S CONSTITUTION REPORT
Constitution report of Turkish Industrialists' & Businessmen's Association (TUSIAD) will be made public after the High Consultation Council meeting which Chairperson Umit Boyner will attend.
Priorities of the study are: allowing organization based on identity, increasing authority of local administrations and lowering election threshold.

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned NATO about Libya. "We have conditions to approve the intervention," he said. Erdogan said, "NATO should enter there to confirm that Libya belongs to Libyan people and the operation should not turn into an occupation."
Erdogan said efforts should be exerted for a peaceful future, not for distribution of underground resources. "Opportunities should be given for Libyan people to make their own decisions before operation turns into occupation," Erdogan said.

COALITION NOT LEGAL
Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, commenting on the formation of coalition against Libya, said he did not think that procedure in the international law was abided by adequately. 
Davutoglu said Turkey did its best to prevent bloodshed in Libya.

SARKOZY MAKING INVESTMENT FOR ELECTIONS
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan accused French President Nicolas Sarkozy as making investment for the French elections by acting as an hawkish politician in the operation against Libya. "Libya should not be divided. Turkey will not send combat troops to be used against Libya," Erdogan said.

OBAMA PHONES ERDOGAN ON LIBYA
U.S. President Barack Obama phoned Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday night and listened to Turkey's concerns regarding NATO intervention in Libya. Erdogan will make a statement on his phone conversation with Obama at his party's group meeting at the Turkish Parliament on Tueday.

SARKOZY IN TROUBLE & IS USING EU
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that French President Nicolas Sarkozy is doing everything to attack Libya. "Sarkozy has used the European Union in order to improve his badly damaged image in France. No one has assigned any task to Sarkozy," Erdogan said.
